Illinois Appellate Court
Civil Court
Statute of Limitations
Plaintiffs filed complaint for accounting malpractice. Court properly dismissed complaint as time-barred under statute of limitations and statute of repose. As with the legal malpractice statute, the continuous course of treatment doctrine is inapplicable to accounting malpractice actions, even where the relationship continues beyond the purportedly tortious act or omission.(CUNNINGHAM and CONNORS, concurring.)
