Plaintiff filed complaint with State Board of Elections, alleging that campaign committee committed various violations of article 9 of Election Code based on its reported expenditures to service station and bank from 1999 to 2015.Court affirmed Board's decision ruling that Plaintiff failed to establish a violation of section 9-8.10(a)(2) based on Committee's expenditures to the Bank for election-day expenses. Court reversed Board's decision ruling that Plaintiff failed to establish violations of Section 9-8.10(a)(2) based on Committee's expenditures to Bank for traveling expenses and to service station for gas and repairs of personal vehicles; and decision ruling that Plaintiff failed to establish violations of section 9-8.10(a)(9) based on Committee's expenditures to service station for gas and repairs of personal vehicles. (HOLDER WHITE and TURNER, concurring.)
