Child Support
A notice of withholding that is statutorily deficient, under section 20(c)(9) of the Income Withholding for Support Act, because it fails to include the required social security number of the obligor cannot be deemed sufficient to impose a duty on an employer to withhold the obligor’s income. The omission of the social security number is dispositive and renders the notice invalid.(GARMAN, FREEMAN, KILBRIDE, KARMEIER, BURKE, and THEIS, concurring.)
