ISBA Diversity Leadership Council presents - “Count Me In”

A premier complimentary networking reception celebrating diversity within the profession.

Count me in

December 8, 2017
4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Palmer House
17 E Monroe
, Chicago, IL (map and directions)

Because the face of ISBA should reflect our diversity, we're here to help you get connected and stay connected…but we want your help too!

Here are some easy steps you can take to become involved with the ISBA:

  • Become a member…
  • If you are a member, bring a guest to a program…
  • Help us partner with your minority bar group on a CLE program, a mentoring project, a community outreach project, or other projects aimed at increasing awareness in each other of the benefits of diversity-rich communities ...
  • Sign up for a complimentary ISBA program…
  • Offer to mentor or sponsor someone of a different racial, ethnic or cultural background…
  • Interview someone of a different racial, ethnic or cultural background for the newsletter of an ISBA Standing Committee…
  • Apply to serve on an ISBA Section Council or Committee…
  • Invite someone new to visit one of your Committee meetings to pique their interest…
  • Tell us what more we should be doing to make the ISBA more responsive and welcoming to minority lawyers, judges and law school faculty (give a name and email address here)…
  • Ask a younger lawyer of color to be a speaker or panelist in a CLE program you are planning…
  • and reach out to ISBA leadership with your thoughts and ideas...
