3 new associate judges appointed in 3rd Circuit

Michael J. Tardy, Director of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, announced Sept. 4 that the Third Judicial Circuit judges voted to select Donald M. Flack, Maureen D. Schuette and Luther W. Simmons as associate judges of the Third Judicial Circuit.

Mr. Flack received his undergraduate degree in 1993 from the Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville and his Juris Doctor in 1998 from St. Louis University in St. Louis. Mr. Flack served as associate judge of the Third Judicial Circuit until June 30, 2015.

Ms. Schuette received her undergraduate degree in 1984 from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville and her Juris Doctor in 1988 from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. Ms. Schuette is currently engaged in solo practice in Edwardsville.

Mr. Simmons received his undergraduate degree in 1970 from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and his Juris Doctor in 1974 from St. Louis University. Mr. Simmons is currently affiliated with the Madison County Public Defender's Office in Edwardsville.
