Faegre Baker Daniels achieved Mansfield Certification and Certification Plus status from Diversity Lab after completing the inaugural, one-year Mansfield Rule pilot.
The Mansfield Rule — inspired by the NFL’s Rooney Rule — aims to boost representation of diverse lawyers in law firm leadership by broadening the pool of candidates considered for these opportunities. It measures whether law firms have considered at least 30 percent women and attorneys of color for certain leadership and governance roles, partner promotions and senior lateral positions.

Mark Goldenberg, a founder and managing partner of Goldenberg Heller & Antognoli, P.C., based in Edwardsville, has been appointed a member of the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Character and Fitness for the 5th District of Illinois.
Effective immediately, his term expires Dec. 31, 2018 and until a successor is duly appointed and qualified. As a member of the 11-person committee, Goldenberg will help evaluate the moral character and general fitness of applicants to practice law in Illinois.
