Dist. Ct. did not err in granting defendant-employer's motion for summary judgment in action alleging that defendant terminated plaintiff in retaliation for plaintiff having filed workers' compensation claim. Defendant explained that plaintiff was terminated after having exhausted her medical leave, and plaintiff failed to show that defendant applied medical leave policy requiring said termination in uneven manner. Plaintiff also failed to show that relevant decision-maker was aware that plaintiff had filed workers' compensation claim. Ct. additionally rejected plaintiff's claim that Dist. Ct. lacked jurisdiction to consider claim that had been removed to federal court even though plaintiff made offer to return any damages in excess of $75,000, where Ct. noted that case had already been properly removed at time plaintiff made said offer.
