Dist. Ct. did not err in granting defendant-employer’s motion for summary judgment in ADA and ADEA action alleging that defendant terminated plaintiff on account of his disability and age. While plaintiff’s supervisor made comments regarding plaintiff’s retirement plans, about being “old” and being on drugs, such evidence did not establish discriminatory motive where said comments were uttered at least 18 months prior to termination decision. Moreover, while plaintiff argued that defendant terminated him for minor infraction that did not justify termination, plaintiff’s evidence, at best, calls into question wisdom of termination decision, but failed to demonstrate that said decision was based on plaintiff’s age or disability.
