Join us in Chicago as lawyers and judges from around the state gather to conduct the business of the bench and bar. The Joint Meeting begins with a special program on Thursday – Lincoln’s Legacy: Lawyers Who Protect Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness – including a keynote address by Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan and a panel discussion moderated by WTTW Chicago Tonight Host Phil Ponce. Following the program we invite you all to mix and mingle with old friends and new faces at the Opening Reception.

On Friday, we’ll be both honoring and hearing from leaders in our profession, including the Illinois Bar Foundation’s Award Winner Hon. Nancy J. Katz and Honorary Fellow Hon. James F. Holderman, and IJA Luncheon Featured Speaker Hon. Ann Claire Williams. Later that evening we’ll gather for a formal dinner in honor of the Supreme Court of Illinois where the Hon. Thomas R. Fitzgerald, Chief Justice, Supreme Court of Illinois, will be our featured speaker.

We’ll also be offering a multitude of CLE programs through Winter CLE Fest – Chicago, where you can earn up to 12 hours of MCLE, including all 4 hours of the required PMCLE. Programs will be conducted in the hotel the first half of the day Thursday and throughout the day on Friday.

Whether you decide to register for only the Joint Meeting or Winter CLE Fest, or choose to register for both, be sure to check out all the holiday happenings that Chicago has to offer at this time of the year. Because even though the Olympics aren’t coming, Chicago is still our kind of town!
