(Court opinion corrected 11/3/14.) Plaintiff was discharged as fire lieutenant. Plaintiff did not have right to arbitrate his grievance, as conditions precedent to arbitration were not satisfied, as union must refer grievance to arbitration. Board of Police and Fire Commissioner's findings that Plaintiff threatened his supervisors and their families, and that junior lieutenant's testimony as to incidents was credible and consistent were supported by manifest weight of evidence. Plaintiff's statements that he wanted to kill his supervisors was sufficient to support termination, as conduct unbecoming a fire lieutenant. (PUCINSKI and LAVIN, concurring.)
