Court properly entered judgment for $421,621 in favor of public guardian, as guardian of estate of adult daughter (profoundly disabled from birth injuries, and receiving monthly $15,000 annuity from medical malpractice settlement). Court properly found that her mother, who had served as guardian of her estate for 2 ½ years, failed to properly account for use of estate funds and had spent substantial sums for her benefit and benefit of other family members, including purchase of house, vehicle payments, and salary draw for mother without court approval. Mother disregarded her obligation to preserve and manage estate to provide for daughter’s needs. (McLAREN and HUDSON, concurring.)
