The Illinois Bar Journal would like your recounting of the one mistake you made that you’ll never make again as an attorney (i.e., not as a spouse or partner, parent, or adult child.). Your entry need not be about negligence or ineffective assistance of counsel. Perhaps you made a poor hiring decision, were entangled in a comedy-of-errors mishap or fiasco, or were saved at the last minute by a colleague who caught your fatal error or typo? These are the kinds of stories we’re looking for.
We will accept submissions from May 1 to May 12. The winning Fool Me Once entry will receive a $100 gift card. The Illinois Bar Journal will publish the winning entry and other top entries in an upcoming issue. All published entries will appear anonymously.
