Dawn L. Moody is a Principal with Keough & Moody, P.C., where she has practiced since joining the firm as a law clerk in 2000. She concentrates her practice exclusively on the representation of condominium, homeowner, and townhome associations throughout Illinois.

Dawn advises community associations in all aspects of governance, including the interpretation, drafting, and amendment of governing documents; the development and review of policies and rules; contract review and negotiation; enforcement matters; and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. She also counsels boards of directors on effective assessment collection procedures and other operational issues to help associations function efficiently and in accordance with their governing documents.

An active member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), Dawn is a frequent speaker on issues affecting community associations. She regularly presents at educational programs sponsored by CAI-Illinois, including its annual Legal Forum.  She has also presented at CAI's National Community Association Law Seminar. In addition, Dawn and her law partner, Gabriella Comstock, provide ongoing education to community association boards and managers through webinars and the firm's monthly legal newsletter.

Dawn earned her Juris Doctor, with honors, from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2004 and received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from North Central College in 2001.

Dawn is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and is admitted to practice before all Illinois state courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
