Biography
I am a commercial litigation partner who serves as the day-to-day lead litigator on all forms of litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. With my broad legal experience in commercial dispute resolution, I'm proud to be known as a "jack of all trades" litigator.
I currently or have formally represented sales representatives, technology companies, retail/eCommerce companies, product manufacturers, lithium-ion battery manufacturers, and financial services and home health care companies. I have successful experience in trial, mediation, and arbitration settings representing clients in high-exposure claims involving contract and royalty disputes, earn-out disputes, fraud, tax claims, IP/patent infringement, statutory and regulatory issues, and class action defense, among other matters. I have extensive experience with all aspects of civil litigation, including E-Discovery, drafting winning dispositive motions at both the dismissal and summary judgment phase, and successful appellate briefing. In short, if you or your business have a problem, I will do my best to help you find an efficient resolution.
I have been a practicing litigator in Chicago since 2008. I am licensed to practice law in Illinois and am admitted before the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
I received my law degree from The George Washington University Law School in 2008, after previously graduating with honors from the University of Chicago in 2001, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science, with a focus on international relations.
