Mock Trial

2020 Mock Trial

The 2020 High School Mock Trial Invitational will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15, 2020 at the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign, Illinois.

We would like to highlight two important changes to this year’s materials. First, the rules of evidence used by the ISBA Mock Trials Handbook have been changed to adopt the National High School Mock Trial Rules of Evidence. You can find more information about this change in the Handbook.

Second, almost all of the registration materials have changed this year to electronic forms using electronic signatures. Please see the registration materials packet for more information about how to submit and access those forms.

Schools may submit questions about the Problem or other materials by email to the Mock Trial Coordinator at il.hs.mocktrial@gmail.com. The deadline for submitting questions is February 21, 2020. Questions will be addressed in one or more Update Memos that will be posted on this website prior to the Mock Trial Invitational. This will ensure that all participants have access to the responses. Thank you!
