Biography
Darryl A. Goldberg is an aggressive criminal defense lawyer who represents clients nationwide that are accused of serious criminal offenses in federal and state district and appellate courts, often in high‐profile cases, such as his client fictionalized in Clint Eastwood’s film The Mule. He has successfully defended professional athletes, celebrities, doctors, lawyers, accountants, and law enforcement officers, among others. His relentless efforts as a trial lawyer have resulted in jury verdicts acquitting clients of everything from first‐degree murder to large‐scale drug conspiracy. He has convinced prosecutors to dismiss serious health care, mail fraud, drug, firearm and murder charges, as well as large civil forfeitures. He has chaired the ABA Criminal Trial Evidence Committee and the CBA Criminal Law Committee.
