I have been licensed and practicing since November 1982.  Before and during law school I always worked in my father's law office.  My father practiced primarily family law. The law has always been the most influential aspect of my life. Because I live in Chicago and my father moved his practice to Woodstock, Illinois shortly before I graduated law school, I have been a sole practitioner since being sworn in as an attorney. 

I have handled primarily family law matters, including child protection cases (juvenile abuse and neglect), and real estate contracts and closings for residential real estate for my entire career.  I am a certified mediator, and have completed the parenting coordinator class, although have not yet joined the list for appointment.  The skills learned in the mediation and parenting coaching classes have benefited my child representative and guardian ad litem clients as well as my parent clients. 

I do not have a big internet presence as I believe the best way to find an attorney is by asking other people.  Anyone can say they are the best and the greatest, but someone who has been represented by an attorney is the best source of information regarding that attorney.

I have no plans to retire at any time in the near or distant future.  I am accepting new clients.
