Biography

Mr. Naumann is admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court and before the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Attorney Naumann’s broad and extensive background help him oversee a team of attorneys and serve clients in the most complex transactions and litigation. Mr. Naumann brings considerable litigation and trial experience to the firm's transactional practice. While real estate, estates, corporate, and not-for-profit law are still the backbone of the practice, the firm continues to enjoy success in a variety of commercial litigation matters. The firm advises clients through all types of real estate and commercial development and transactions, compliance, formation and planning, and major estate planning, settlement, and administration.

Mr. Naumann graduated 7th in his class at Regent University School of Law, where he attended on a full scholarship and was the Executive Editor of the Regent University Law Review. The focus of his legal studies was commercial law. Mr. Naumann earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Judson College, now Judson University, in Elgin, Illinois. During his senior year he served as President of the Student Body and Student Senate. Between his undergraduate and graduate education, he had a five-year career in information technology, with positions in corporate sales and in technology implementation.

Faith and community involvement have always been a priority for Mr. Naumann, particularly by way of serving at the local churches he has attended, as well as by volunteering with other charities and community groups. He enjoys leading a life group at his local church, providing legal aid services once per month as part of Administer Justice, and judging mock trial competitions among local high school students. In addition to being an Eagle Scout, Mr. Naumann received numerous awards and honors throughout his academic career in the areas of public speaking, negotiations, business, and law.

Mr. Naumann enjoys working with both local and global clientele who work or have a home in the Chicago area, and he enjoys travel, both foreign and domestic. He has lived in the Midwest for most of his life, and he presently lives near Chicago with his wife and three children.
