Biography
Marie Sarantakis is an award-winning attorney, best-selling author, nationally recognized divorce coach, and the founder of Sarantakis Law Group, Ltd. She is known for representing clients in complex divorce, custody, and financial matters.
As a frequent legal commentator, Marie has appeared on the television program Divorce Court, Fox News Radio, and in Chicago Magazine. In 2023, she was named the Illinois State Bar Association's Young Lawyer of the Year and was recognized by the American Bar Association as one of the Top Forty Young Lawyers in the United States through its prestigious On the Rise Award. She has also been selected as a Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers Rising Star and featured in Chicago Magazine for seven consecutive years.
Marie is a Certified Financial Litigator (CFL), mediator, arbitrator, guardian ad litem, child representative, parenting coach, and collaborative law practitioner. She is the author of the Amazon bestselling book How to Divorce a Narcissist and Win, has published more than 30 legal articles, taught numerous continuing legal education programs, and authored two textbook chapters for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education. An active leader in the legal profession, Marie has served in numerous leadership positions with state, local, and national bar associations.
Outside of her practice, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, fine automobiles, and spending time with her German Shepherds.
