The Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) is hosting a joint listening tour throughout Illinois to improve the administration of justice by seeking feedback on local and statewide issues of concern to the judiciary, law enforcement, and legal community.
The listening tour is occurring in conjunction with the implementation of the Illinois Judicial Conference’s three-year strategic plan, which aims to provide accessible justice and equal protection under the law, as well as professionalism and accountability throughout the judicial branch.
The ISBA plans to host listening sessions in a county courthouse in each appellate district. The Hon. Anne M. Burke, Chief Justice of the Illinois Supreme Court, will be a guest of the ISBA and will attend all listening sessions. Local court stakeholders will receive invitations to attend the events. Additional interested guests may attend if capacity allows. Please contact Kim Weaver at email@example.com for more information.
