Board did not err in denying petitioner’s claim for withholding of removal, even though petitioner argued that he would be persecuted if forced to be removed to Mexico. Petitioner testified that while in Mexico,his father’s cousin threatened to kill him and sent others to follow him and make similar threats. However, petitioner was able to seek assistance from military individuals to investigate such threats and petitioner drafted reports of said threats to prosecutor. Moreover, cousin is now incarcerated, which supports finding that Mexican authorities were willing to protect petitioner in past.
