Federal 7th Circuit Court
Civil Court
ERIA
Plaintiff filed a lawsuit alleging a number of claims against dozens of individuals and corporations in connection with the bankruptcy of a company, including that the defendants fraudulently inflated the company’s price in the years leading up to the bankruptcy. The Seventh Circuit concluded that the district court did not err in any of its rulings, but reversed and remanded the case for further consideration of the counts of the complaint based on the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
