The district court did not abuse its discretion when it stayed proceedings pending the outcome of a concurrent matter in New Jersey. The court explained that it did not find error with the trial court’s case-management plan that stayed proceedings in the Illinois case which was focused on claims pertaining to corporate trade-secrets pending the resolution of the New Jersey litigation which would resolve a dispute regarding corporate ownership on the basis of judicial economy.
