Plaintiff filed a lawsuit against the City of Chicago alleging that he was unlawfully detained and maliciously prosecuted by city police officers when they arrested him for weapons and drug violations. The district court found that the officers had probable cause to detain plaintiff and granted defendant’s motion to dismiss. Plaintiff appealed and the Seventh Circuit affirmed, finding that the district court properly relied on body-worn camera video evidence and that based on that evidence the plaintiff had failed to allege any plausible claims.
