Plaintiff filed a lawsuit against her former employer alleging that the employer violated her First Amendment rights after she was terminated for posting inflammatory messages on social media. The district court granted summary judgment in favor of the defendants and plaintiff appealed. The Seventh Circuit affirmed, finding that plaintiff failed to produce sufficient evidence from which a reasonable juror could find in her favor. (SCUDDER and RIPPLE, concurring)
