Age Discrimination
Plaintiff filed a lawsuit alleging age discrimination after his employment was terminated by the defendant, the Cook County Sheriff’s Office. The district court granted summary judgment in favor of the defendants and plaintiff appealed. The Seventh Circuit affirmed, finding that plaintiff’s evidence did not create a triable issue on whether age motivated the decision to terminate plaintiff’s employment. (SYKES and KIRSCH, concurring)
