Plaintiff filed a lawsuit against individuals in the Lake County Superior Court and Lake County Probation Officer after she was sexually assaulted by her probation officer. The district court granted summary judgment in favor of thedefendants and plaintiff appealed. The Seventh Circuit affirmed, noting that while the facts were tragic, the defendant’s actions did not rise to a level of deliberate indifference and, as a result, their actions did not violate plaintiff’s constitutional rights.
