Excessive Force
Plaintiff filed a lawsuit against police officers for excessive force after the officers used non-lethal ammunition to subdue him during a standoff where plaintiff threatened to shoot his ex-wife and nephew. The district court granted summary judgment for the defendants and plaintiff appealed. The Seventh Circuit affirmed, finding that defendant could not point to any clearly established law showing that the officers’ behavior violated the constitution. (PRYOR and MALDONADO, concurring)
