Federal 7th Circuit Court
Civil Court
Civil Rights Act
Plaintiff filed a lawsuit alleging a pattern of race and national origin discrimination and retaliation as well as a hostile work environment in violation of the Civil Rights Act after he was placed on unpaid emergency leave for getting into a disagreement with his supervisor during which the police were called to escort plaintiff from the workroom floor. The district court granted summary judgment for the defendant on all claims and plaintiff appealed. The Seventh Circuit found no error and affirmed. (RIPPLE and KIRSCH, concurring)
