Abuse and Neglect
Mother appealed finding of neglect as to her seven children. Finding was not against manifest weight of evidence; one child described finding hypodermic needles in various residences where they lived and saw mother injecting needle. Evidence was unrebutted and more than sufficient to sustain State's burden, showing that mother had substance abuse issues to which she exposed her children, even without considering erroneously admitted lengthy records of two DCFS investigations.
