Defendant claimed that clerk of court did not properly sign foreclosure action summons, as signature did not match that as registered with Secretary of State. The name of the principal (clerk), written by a deputy under the principal's authority, as a name handwritten with the intention to sign in another's name, is acceptable as a signature.
