AT&T v. Lyons and Pinner Electric Company, Inc.

Defendant electric companies, while doing excavation work, struck and damaged ATT's underground telephone utility facilities. Trial court abused its discretion in finding dismissal of contribution claim final and appealable under Rule 304(a), without considering relevant factors to determine whether there was any just reason to delay appeal, and without following procedural requirements of Rule 308 for certifying a question for expedited appellate review.(SCHOSTOK and SPENCE, concurring.)
