People v. Fricks

Defendant entered nonegotiated plea of guilty to 1st-degree murder, and was sentenced to 60 years, which included 20-year sentencing enhancement. Court denied defense counsel's motion to reduce Defendant's sentence. On remand for compliance with Rule 604(d), new defense counsel file 2nd amended motion to withdraw Defendant's guilty plea with proper Rule 604(d) certificate. Another remand is necessary because new defense counsel did not ask to be heard on motion to reduce sentence, and court did not consider the motion anew or review original hearing on motion.
