People v. Garcia

Defendant pled guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, and was sentenced to 16 years, 5 years, and 12 years, to run concurrently. Defendant was found with over 1500 grams of cocaine and over 2 pounds of marijuana. Court properly considered amount of drugs possessed or sold as aggravating factor, within context of determining seriousness of offense, need to protect community, need for deterrence, and to punish Defendant.
