Plain language of Elder Abuse and Neglect Act does not not encompass conviction of a person who was convicted for misdemeanor battery of her elderly client. Thus, such person is not prevented from subsequently seeking quantum meruit compensation from the client's estate for caretaking services. (BURKE, concurring; GORDON, specially concurring.)
