Plaintiff filed suit for injuries from vehicle accident that occurred in Ohio.Defendant was driving a tractor trailer owned by GML, a Missouri corporation with its principal place of business and registered agent in Randolph County, Illinois.Plaintiff was driving a commercial truck. GML's part-time employee who was a "point person" in Chicago is a long-time resident of Cook County and did most of his work from his home. His home residence satisfies the definition of "other office" and thus GML is a resident of Cook County. Court properly denied Defendants' motion to dismiss for lack of proper venue.
