Plaintiff filed a lawsuit alleging that defendant breached its contract to provide remodeling work at her home. The trial court granted defendant’s motion to compel arbitration and dismissed plaintiff’s complaint with prejudice. The appellate court reversed and remanded, finding “several significant portions” in the arbitration agreement were unconscionable, that the agreement could not be cured by modification or severance, and that the agreement, on the whole, was unenforceable.
