Defendant was convicted of two counts of domestic battery following a bench trial and sentenced to six months in jail. On appeal, he argued that he was not proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt because his convictions were based on uncorroborated and inconsistent testimony by the witness and that his conviction should be reversed to simple battery because the State did not prove that he was a household member. The appellate court affirmed, finding that the court properly considered the evidence before it and that the evidence supported a finding that defendant lived with the victim.
