Illinois Appellate Court
Civil Court
Trusts and Estates
On citations to discover assets in a probate action, the respondents appealed orders entered in favor of the petitioner, as the administrator of the estate. The appellate court affirmed in part and reversed in part, finding that the trial court’s conclusion that an oral contract created an obligation on respondents to be responsible for any uncollectible accounts to be against the manifest weight of the evidence and reversed an order finding respondent responsible for outstanding accounts receivable, but otherwise affirmed the orders awarding attorney fees to the petitioner and finding that the respondents’ forfeited certain compensation.
