Parties to a dissolution of marriage entered into an agreement to leave at least half of their respective estates to the children or grandchildren of the marriage. After the death of one of the parties, the children of the marriage brought a petition to enforce judgment alleging that the decedent's will failed to comply with the terms of the judgment. Respondents to the petition moved to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction, alleging that the decedent was domiciled in the state of Florida at the time of this death. The circuit court denied the motion and the appellate court affirmed, finding that the circuit court had jurisdiction over the action pursuant to its inherent power to enforce its own orders.
