Respondent appealed from the trial court order dissolving the parties’ marriage and dividing the article estate On appeal, defendant argued that the trial court erred by finding three investment accounts and the former marital residence were marital property, by dividing the accounts and property equally, and by modifying the judgment for the dissolution of marriage more than 30 days after the entry of judgment. The appellate court affirmed, finding that the trial court’s findings were not against the manifest weight of the evidence and that the trial court did not abuse its discretion by awarding each party half of the marital estate or when it entered a clarification order.
