Defendant pled guilty of theft and was sentenced to 24 months of conditional discharge and ordered to pay restitution. Defendant argued on appeal that the amount of restitution was not supported by the evidence. The appellate court dismissed the appeal, finding that the defendant did not comply with the SCR 604(d) requirements for negotiated pleas to file a motion to withdraw his guilty plea within 30 days of the imposition of restitution.
