Plaintiffs filed a complaint challenging the constitutionality of criminal code restrictions that prohibit individuals from openly carrying firearms in public, arguing that the relevant provisions of the criminal code were unconstitutional under the second amendment of the United States constitution. The trial court found that there was no genuine issue of material fact regarding the constitutionality of the statutes and granted summary judgment in favor of defendants and plaintiffs appealed.
