Plaintiff brought a legal malpractice claim against defendants alleging that they failed to provide proper legal advice and services in relation to a real estate development. A jury returned a verdict in favor of defendants and plaintiff appealed, arguing that the trial court erred when it denied plaintiff’s motion for JNOV. The appellate court affirmed, finding that the evidence did not so overwhelmingly favor the plaintiff so that no contrary verdict could ever stand where the jury was faced with conflicting evidence and where the jury could have found that plaintiff was more than 50% at fault. (MOORE and BARBERIS, concurring)
