People v. Woods

Defendant, who was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, appealed from a trial court order denying pretrial release. The appellate court affirmed, finding that the record supported the determination that defendant posed a risk to the community based on the offense charged and defendant’s criminal history, including that he was arrested while on parole for another charge.
