Palos Community Hospital v. Humana Insurance Co.

Plaintiff filed a lawsuit alleging that it was underpaid when it was reimbursed by the defendant insurance company for medical services provided to insured patients. Plaintiff appealed after the trial court granted summary judgment in favor of the defendant and denied plaintiff’s motion to reconsider. The appellate court reversed and remanded, finding that the record presented genuine issues of material fact on the question of the contractual agreement between the parties.
