Illinois Appellate Court
Civil Court
Dissolution of Marriage
Respondent appealed from the circuit court's judgment of dissolution of marriage, arguing that the trial court incorrectly calculated the marital and non-marital portions of two of petitioner’s retirement accounts and that the trial court’s allocation of parental responsibility was against the manifest weight of the evidence and an abuse of discretion. The appellate court vacated the portion of the order involving one of the financial accounts, finding that the trial court erred in its calculation, but affirmed the remainder of the judgment.
