Plaintiffs filed a lawsuit to involuntarily dissolve a limited liability corporation that was formed to provide little league and baseball-related services. The trial court granted plaintiffs’ motion for summary judgment on their involuntary dissolution claim and awarded compensatory and punitive damages to the plaintiffs. The defendants appealed, arguing that the trial court erred in entering summary judgment and in its award of compensatory and punitive damages. The appellate court affirmed, finding that defendant either waived his argument by not raising it in the circuit court or that defendant failed to create a genuine issue of summary judgment that would preclude entry of summary judgment and that the trial court did not abuse its discretion in the entry of compensatory and punitive damages.
