Illinois Appellate Court
Civil Court
Illinois Commerce Commission
Plaintiff appealed from the circuit court’s dismissal of his complaint against the defendant in which he alleged the defendant charged him for utility service at a property that plaintiff did not own or live at and then terminated the gas service at his actual residence. The circuit court dismissed the complaint after finding that the Illinois Commerce Commission had exclusive jurisdiction. The appellate court agreed and affirmed. (McBRIDE and D.B. WALKER, concurring)
