Illinois Appellate Court
Civil Court
Uniform Partition of Heirs Property Act
In an action under the Uniform Partition of Heirs Property Act, defendant appealed from a circuit court order apportioning attorney fees and expenses and the court’s denial of her motion to strike certain portions of plaintiff’s submissions. The appellate court rejected defendant’s arguments and affirmed, finding that the circuit court did not abuse its discretion with respect to its apportionment of fees and expenses under the Act.
